      Hi,

I have a user with £ sign on her password. We use Microsoft NPS and wireless authentication works with the password and unfortunately pfsense openvpn not authenticate with £ sign.

Is this a bug ? or Am I blind on here ?

Any help would be much appreciate !

While I can't speak about a the £, you may find differences in what different systems allow. So, it's entirely possible it's allowed for NPS and WiFi, but not OpenVPN. A couple of seconds of hard Googling turned up this. Apparently the £ is not allowed.

        I haven't lost my mind. It's around here...somewhere...

Yes. I have use $ instead £ and it works. Some copiers we have doesn't like £ sign on the password. Something to do with £ .

Thanks for your clarification & much appreciated.

          I will remove £ from keyboards. :) :) :) :)
