I recently added IPv6 to my network in the last two weeks. I have a Century Link DSL modem in bridge mode using PPPoE on the WAN. I noticed that when I restart my PfSense box my LAN does not receive a IPv6 address on boot whereas the WAN does.

Only when I go-to the "Interfaces" menu and do a manual PPP disconnect/reconnect on the WAN does my LAN grab an IPv6 address. I've looked through the system and PPP log but don't see anything suspicious. I'm not sure what is causing it.

      I'm running: 2.5.0.a.20201117.1850

I just checked redmine and I'm guessing this might be it: Bug #3965
