Feature Remove Request

I have used Snort since It became a pkg. for pfSense back whenever that was and wondered if
all those antique pattern matcher's were going to be removed like Barnyard 2 was.And Thank's to bmeeks for Inline mode.

All of those pattern matcher choices are still listed in the Snort documentation as being supported. There is just a note saying a couple of them are superior to all the others.

Still Supported doesn't mean they are used by anyone or even if they are effective (Does it)?I will just have to refuse the temptation to expand that section.

I don't necessarily disagree, but nonetheless I am a little cautious when it comes to removing existing features still supported by the underlying binary.
