My firewall is normally connected to a router with a 4G SIM inserted.
The IP address of the router is 192.168.43.2 and the WAN port of pfSense is 192.168.43.3
With this I surf without problems.
Today, however, I have a problem with the router and until Monday I can not adjust it.

So, I take a Zyxel WAP3205v2 Access Point; I configure it as a "client"; I hook up my smartphone configured with a hotspot; I give to the Zyxel the internal address 192.168.43.2 and connect it with a cable to the WAN port of the pfSense.
But there is no Internet browsing.

I switch off pfSense, connect the PC directly to the Zyxel and immediately the smartphone assigns it an IP and I can surf.

Yet I don't think I need to make any changes to pfSense since the IPs are the same. Or not?

Possibly that's the point, the smartphone hotspot may only work with devices that it's DHCP has assigned an IP.
So try to switch the WAN interface config into DHCP client mode.

          Does not work.
I don't want it to be a DNS problem.
The Zyxel does not have its own DNS and therefore I have to take that of the Smartphone (192.168.43.1).
There are 4 DNS in the Dashboard
          127.0.0.1
          192.168.43.2
          8.8.8.8
          8.8.4.4

          Where are these addresses defined?
I will look stupid, but I can't find them.

In General Setup / SNS Server settings there are only the two Google DNS.
              Where is 192.168.43.2?

Now with WAN DHCP I have address 192.168.43.106, but the Gateway is always on 192.168.43.2
This is actually the IP of the Access Point, but if pfSense looks for the DNS here we are in bad shape.
