      Dear Team,

I have deployed Pfsense in my network.
LAN to WAN only 80, 443 allowed for all nodes.
WAN to LAN only port forwarded to some nodes.

Everything is working fine but unable to do voice and video call, its been blocked by pfsense only. When I am looking for logs its just showing some nated IPs and random ports blocked.

BADLY REQUIRED SUPPORT FOR THIS, IT WOULD BE GREAT IF ANYONE CAN HELP ME IN THIS.

      Thanks

        Well, you nailed it.
Whatsapp is NOT using port 80 or 443.

        This :

Why - what is a node ? Do they need to expose some ports to the Internet ?

Best advise : Re install pfSense, change the password. DO NOT CHANGE ANYTHING ELSE - DO NOT ADD ANYTHING.
Whatssapp will work. Voice and video. Actually, everything will work from your LAN.
        Draw your conclusion ;)

Edit : and where are the logs ??

@Gertjan Yes whatsapp is not using 80/443 but whatsapp mesg are going on but only issue is with calling

@gertjan Node means the system/users generating traffic which is passing through that firewall

@Gertjan It is near to impossible to reinstall PF sense, since there are multiple things going across the firewall.

Then, at least undo this :

LAN to WAN only 80, 443 allowed for all nodes.

and put back default LAN rule you found when on LAN when you installed pfSense.

Aren't your LAN clients not complaining ?
