    Hello,

Very much thanks to Netgate for implementing WireGuard feature.

I just upgraded my pfSense appliance to version 2.5.0.a.20210119.2350 and trying to configure WireGuard VPN, but during peer creating an error occurs: "pfSenseConfigurator: pfSense is restoring the configuration /cf/conf/backup/config-1611164874.xml @ 2021-01-20 20:57:20".

I tried to check system logs, but only noticed the following messages:

    Jan 20 20:57:20	php-fpm	76421	/vpn_wg_edit.php: XML error: XML_ERR_NAME_REQUIRED at line 1585 in /conf/config.xml
    Jan 20 20:57:20	php-fpm	76421	/vpn_wg_edit.php: pfSense is restoring the configuration /cf/conf/backup/config-1611164874.xml
Jan 20 20:57:20	php-fpm	76421	/vpn_wg_edit.php: New alert found: pfSense is restoring the configuration /cf/conf/backup/config-1611164874.xml

Would be glad to hear ideas on how to fix this. Sorry for possible typos and mistakes, because English is not my native language. Thanks!

@skplus same here, be careful. On reboot I lost interfaces assignation and had to restore from a previous config.

@tirsojrp thank you for the info. I just created configuration backup and tried to remove wg tunnel and got a crash. It seems we need to wait a bit more until this component will be fixed.

Crash report begins. Anonymous machine information:

@skplus This looks to be the same thing our engineers were seeing in testing. The description here isn't the exact same, but the root cause is believed to be the same. This should be fixed in the latest snap.
