Do you mean, the VPN client is now your default gateway?

What kind of device is this client?

Do you want to direct the whole upstream traffic over it and over the VPN or only partial?

Do your router have multiple interfaces? Is it capable to drive multiple subnets?

@viragomann Thank you for your prompt response, the client is a simple pfsense machine behind the router, for example my pfsense machine ip is 192.168.1.2 on wan interface and give it gateway ip 192.168.1.1 "router local ip" doing this internet is working on pfsense machine however i couldn't established my openvpn connection with openvpn server.

The VPN connection should work anyway. There is nothing other than connecting from any other client within the LAN.

What do you get in the clients OpenVPN log?
              Maybe increase log level.

              Does pfSense have internet?
