WiFi on 2.3-beta

I cannot assign a wireless card to more than one interface. When I do, an error message appears. I didn't have this issue when I was on 2.2.6.
I want to note that this is a clean installed pfsense 2.3 x64.
I do realise that this is a beta, I am just giving feedback to help improve this project.Thanks,

I'm seeing it on the Interfaces > Interface Assignments page.
This is the error that I'm getting:

Port ath0_wlan1 was assigned to 2 interfaces: LAN_WLAN (OPT1) OPT6 (OPT6)I would like to add that I don't even get to choose the wifi card from the drop-down menu when creating a new interface. Rather, I would have to create an interface assigned to an Ethernet port. After creating the interface, I become able to see all the other "network ports" that were hidden before creating the interface. If I choose any one of the ports that were hidden before creating the new interface, I get an error message similar to the one above.
The other network ports that I mentioned include; bridges, VLANs and tap openVPN (ovpn). The're all assigned to other existing interfaces btw.

That isn't how you use multiple wireless interfaces on a single card.
Visit Interfaces > (assign), Wireless tab, add a new interface there using your actual wireless card as the parent, save, and then return to Interfaces > (assign) where you can now pick the new interface to add.
It's always worked that way since we added VAP support

Yes, I've done it this way. Otherwise, it would be called ath0 instead of ath0_wlan1

If it was done properly you should have had another choice in the Interfaces drop-down, and it wasn't there, so something must not have been done right.
I've tried it on two different systems here with wireless on 2.3 and they both worked fine. First one is ath0 in the assignment list, second is ath0_wlan1, then ath0_wlan2, and so on.
If it doesn't show up that way, delete all of the interfaces and entries under the Wireless tab, reboot for good measure and then try it again.

Thanks! sorry that I didn't understand you properly the first time.
Now I have ath0_wlan1 assigned to the first interface and ath0_wlan2 assigned to the second.
I have another question if I may, should both of the wifi broadcasts be running on the same channel or different? Thanks.

They all have to share the same channel, it can only run one radio
