      Greetings,

I'm having difficulty configuring and implementing a new VLAN on my work network. We are using Dell PowerConnect 6224 stacked switches, Unifi APs, and pfSense. I have the correct port settings on all of my pathways and APs, I have routing enabled and an IP set on each switch, I have the Unifi controller set up. I have a DHCP Server set up on the firewall with rules. Wireless devices can see the network, but when attempting to connect it returns an error: "Couldn't get IP address". What am I missing?

      Thanks all.

Did you configure the VLAN through the switch?

I use VLAN 3 for my guest WiFi. I configured VLAN 3 on pfsense, my Unifi AP and the Cisco switch ports that connect to pfsense and the AP.

PfSense running on Qotom mini PC
i5 CPU, 4 GB memory, 32 GB SSD & 4 Intel Gb Ethernet ports.

        I haven't lost my mind. It's around here...somewhere...
