Staging certificates expiring

I keep getting alerts from pfSense that my 'staging' ACME certificates are expiring. I don't want to remove these configs (they are disabled), and I would rather not auto-refresh them. Is there a way to tell the expiration to stop watching them? Do I need to remove the staging certs from the cert manager?
