      we upgraded to version 2.5.0-RELEASE (amd64) two weeks ago.
      We just have something strange with our openvpn clients/connections.

      When we make an openvpn (Windows 10) connection to our pfsense server for the first time (after a reboot/startup from the Windows 10 pc), it works perfectly.

      If we then close the openvpn connection manually on the client side and then try again, the computer makes a connection (green icon), but the tunnel does not work. There are no errors in the logfiles and the pc get also the right openvpn client ipadres. But no working connection....

      If we restart the Windows 10 client and then try again it all works fine again ... until we disconnect the connection again.

      I do not see any error messages in the log files. (client-/serverside.

      Anyone have an idea? Looks like a bug

        @tunge2

        There is a delay from client disconnect , until the server discovers that the client has disconnected , and a reconnect will work again.

        There was a thread with a fix , about it. Within the last month or so ...

          @bingo600 thank you
          Was the disconnection issue also in 2.4.5-RELEASE-p1?
          in version 2.4.5-RELEASE-p1 we did not have the disconnection "problem".

            According to the above referenced post , and the redmine inside that post.
            It seems that the issue was introduced in 2.5
