    OpenVPN fails to connect after update to 21.02.2-RELEASE

      A functioning Netgate SG1100 that I just updated to the latest available mainstream image (21.02.2-RELEASE) now fails to connect its VPNs.

      Another identical SG-1100 that I have at recent release (21.02-RELEASE-p1) is working fine. So I won't upgrade it until this issue is resolved.

      What config changes to OpenVPN server or clients (or both) will resolve this?

      Server provides a CA plus individual client certs and keys, plus a TLS key.
      Clients are set to use TLS key to authenticate.
