      pfSense: 2.5.1 x64
      Switch: Dell Powerconnect 2824 2848

I configured my 1st pfsense, DNS, DHCP vlan1, squid are working ok.
I'm trying to create vlans but I can't get them to work, I don't know what else I can do to make them work.
I saw this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l3GNKKt9WMc, but I couldn't get it to work.
Switch has a LAG on ports 21-24 and 45-48.
      port1: pfsense
      ports13-14: W10 PRO

      IP ranges:
      vlan 1: 192.168.0.0/24
      vlan 200: 192.168.20.0/24
      vlan 400: 192.168.40.0/24

      pfsense settings:
      v200.png

      vtags.png

      fw.png

      Switch config:
      T - Tagged
      U - Untagged
      vlan02.png
If I set vlan on VLAN\port settings, the client computer does not get the IP (192.168.120.0/24) via DHCP (static IP doesn't work to, I tried ping between PCs)
If I leave it on vlan 1, it gets the IP of the range 192.168.0.0

      What am I doing wrong?

@rafm782 did you set the pvids at the switch 'port settings?

          Hi!
Yes I setted on ports 13-14
          pvid.png

Even with static IP, they do not communicate between these 2 ports (ping)

@rafm782 did you reset the switch to factory defaults before you started configuring them? (Perhaps the previous owner had some sort of port security or dynamic vlans configured?)

              @heper

I reset via console (serial port)
              I created only vlan 200
              same problems :( 😥

I have no idea what could have gone wrong.

the only "odd" thing i see in the screeshots are the priorities you set on the pfsense-vlan-assignments.

but you state that clients with static ip's on port 13 & 14 can not ping eachother ... that suggests that the problem lies with the switch-configuration. i'm not seeing anything wrong with it at first glance.

you realize those dell switches can take up to 1 minute after plugging in a client device before the port starts working ? (has something todo with spanning-tree being enabled by default or something ... been too long to remember what todo to fix it)

do the mac address' of the devices show up in the switch mac-tables ?
