Unable to Remote Desktop
-
Hello....i'm new in pfsense environment ..
I setup a vpn for my company to enable us work from home...i create user cert,add firewall rules & aliase.
Also i manage to login opnVPN to use a vpn connection from my house to pfsense network.
The problem is i only manage to RDP to servers only like DC & WSUS server.I cannot RDP to my workstation at office with the same LAN environment....also unable to ssh to our LInux test machine.
Please advice...

@zulk_85
Possibly the workstation is blocking access from remote IPs. That is the default behaviour of desktop firewalls.
You might have to add a rule to it to allow RDP. -

@zulk_85
Yes, if you control the firewalls by GPO you would have to allow the access there. -

Also, Remote Desktop is not enabled by default in Windows.

So then I'd look at the firewall rules on the VPN interface, or the firewall on the PC isn't allowing access from the VPN.
