Just a question out of curiosity rather than complaint. What is the process behind updating the official Pfsense WireGuard package? I see multiple PRs that don’t appear to have been accepted (yet) and, of course, the working version is a couple more versions ahead. Have there been issues identified in the PRs that kept them from being pushed out to the masses or are there other processes at play? Again, I’m not whining. I could easily side load. Just curious. Thanks!

@gabacho4 I've just noticed that WG package v0.1.3_1 is available in pfSense 2.5.2-RC, so hopefully that will soon make it into other releases.

@bigsy thanks for the heads up. I’m on 21.05 and don’t have anything yet. Would still love to understand how the whole package process works. I’ve been tracking the WireGuard development closely but you could insert the package name of interest (pfblockerng, FRR, etc) and I’d still be interested in the hows.

@gabacho4 I imagine things have been delayed a bit due to final work on 2.5.2 base. Things will improve here a lot in the next week or so, stay tuned
