      Hi all,

      after my upgrade from 2.4.5 to 2.5.2. I found out that there were some changes to the FRR defaults, specifically around the policies that were breaking my bgp route distribution.

      there is a fix apparently,

      adding

      no bgp ebgp-requires-policy

      to the /var/etc/frr/frr.conf file fixed the issue, however it seems that for some reason that line in the frr.conf file keeps disappearing on me, on multiple boxes.

      Has anyone seen this or might have an idea why it would be being removed or better yet how to stop it from being removed :)
