I've been able to install squid 3 on other pfsense boxes… but for some reason this one refuses.

      It fails on extracting squid:
pkg: cannot rename //usr/local/etc/squid/errors/zh-tw.MCJqFBOr3rth to //usr/local/etc/squid/errors/zh-tw: Is a directory

I've checked that that file isn't there (likely cleaned up in failed-install).
I've deleted the directory but the installer still fails.

Not sure how to fix this, I'd appreciate any ideas.

        Hi,

I have exactly the same error here and no way to find anything. Did you succeed about it ?

          I had the same problem
Executing this from Diagnostics > Command Prompt this solved it:

          rm -rf /usr/local/etc/squid/errors/zh*

I think these folders are leftovers from a previous Squid instalation.
