      Dear friends,
          i was trying to block my torrent traffic with snort. i used "emerging-p2p.rules" and it was not successful. i just select that rule and then applied. but i was successful with "emerging-policy.rules" and it blocked lots of important stuffs as well. please help me to solve this problem or please suggest me any other solution with PF sense. My snot rule is added to the WAN interface and i was using bit torrent client. thank you.

        you have to blocked Torrent P2P traffic by Layer 7 deep packet Inspection rule as currently it is allowing through your firewall on port 443.
