      Hi,

I need to add firewall rules in pfsense via command line mode. I have searched this forum and could not find the steps to do the same. Could any one help me with the configuration steps to add the firewall rules in command line.

      Thanks.

          Hi,

I tried adding the below command in the shell prompt (option 8 ).

          easyrule block wan 192.168.3.101

and received a message as "host successfully added" but ping is working fine in both the sides.

          Am I missing anything here?

My requirement is i need to allow / permit specified trafic to the internal network via pfsense command line.

          Thanks,
          Selvi.V
