      Does anyone know if you can migrate data from this package to a new install? Looks like the data isn't included in the AutoConfigBackup backup (that would be sweet if it could be included in that backup!  8) ). I know you can export the data as a CSV file, but doesn't look like you can import that data at all.

        For the same hardware you can just backup everything from /var/db/vnstat and copy it to the new install. For different hardware I sucessfully used the example from the man page at http://humdi.net/vnstat/man/vnstat.html
        From the top of my head, on the old hardware it was something like
        vnstat -i em1 –exportdb > lan.txt
        and on the new hardware
        vnstat -i igb1 --importdb lan.txt

          I'm having a strange issue with the package where my hourly and daily totals look fine, but my monthly totals are taking this months totals and adding it to last month?

          So for example, the hourly total looks like I'd expect and the daily total shows today's date (3/18).  But when I go to monthly data, it doesn't show 03/2017 at all.  It only shows 02/2017 which does appear to be incrementing.

          Sadly, I "Reset Graphing Data" under monthly thinking that it would only reset that data but I ended up wiping all my historical data. :/  Not the end of the world, but even now it's still incrementing 02/2017 for my monthly traffic total and we're well into March?

          Any ideas?

            I see the same thing, nothing displayed for March.

              Thanks!  If nothing else, it is reassuring that I'm not the only person seeing this problem.

                    @Gentle:

                    Is there a way to have the traffic graph data enabled between power reboots?

                    In my case disabling "Use memory file system for /tmp and /var" next to "Use RAM Disks" in "System > Advanced > Miscellaneous" solved the problem.

                    Traffic totals "Enable Graphing" now persists across reboots.  :)

                        Something wrong.  I have this deployed on router with dual wan and Squid.  My WAN2 is LTE and the traffic totals show 8GB used when I have only used 150mb per T-Mobile.  Is this not compatible with Squid?  Can't think of what else could cause this but definitely not accurate.

                          try it without squid and see.. trying monitoring traffic that goes thru squid can be problematic because how the traffic is routed, example:  LAN Interface >> to loopback interface(squid)  >> WAN Interface

                            Yes works without squid but the problem is I need to use squid.  Is there a way to resolve this or is it just not compatible?

                              ok so looks like it is again not working even without squid.  Shows I used 8GB when I have only used 200+ MB
