Squid.conf manual config
-
Hello Masters,
I am using 1.2-RELEASE
built on Sun Feb 24 17:04:58 EST 2008 of
pfSense and so far working perfectly.
I want to add a custom acls to the squid.conf
file but here's what it says,**/usr/local/etc/squid/squid.conf
Do not edit manually!
http_port 192.168.2.2:80
http_port 127.0.0.1:80 transparent
icp_port 0**Is there any other way to edit squid.conf
aside WebGUI?
What would happen if I edit it manually? (have'nt tried yet)Thanks in advace

use /usr/local/pkg/squid.inc (read carefully and you'll get it.)
somethings I fixed in "squid.inc" on my machine:
http://forum.pfsense.org/index.php/topic,11008.0.htmlhelp with initial squid config:
http://forum.pfsense.org/index.php/topic,11001.0.htmlcustom commands can be added through the webconfig screen: Proxy server: General settings -> Custom options
