      Okay,

      Running latest 1.2 ver.
      Lan1 internal IP 192.168.253.1

Added nic (intel) to make OPT1. NOT Bridged
Gave OPT1 an IP of 192.168.13.1

      Enabled DHCH on OPT1.

      Rules on OPT1 looks like this *      *      *    *      *      *
Plugged in new AP directly into OPT1with regular patch cable.

Connect wireless laptop to new wireless AP no internet. Can ping PFSense.

Do I need a crossover cable?
Do I enter any gateway in the OPT1 config interface? or Leave Blank?
Do I enter a gateway in the OPT1 DHCP config page? Or Leave blank?

The only thing I can't try is the crossover..Don't have one hanging around

      Thank you

mrbostn enabled "Advanced outbound NAT" and didnt specify a rule for the OPT1-subnet.
–> he routed the OPT1 subnet insted of NATing it.

We do what we must, because we can.
