Configuration Backup Cache Settings / Backup Count not working

Changing the count of Backup in Diagnostics / Backup & Restore Config History Configuration Backup Cache Settings to 100 only shows 30 backups.

ls -al /cf/conf/backup/*.xml | wc -l
      30

Changing to 120 still keeps 30 backups.
