I'm sorry.  Im sure this question has been answered 1000 times.  I've been unable to give the right number of search inputs to find my answer…

After I have created a port list alias, and I want to add it to a rule, how do I do this?  I dont see anywhere with any drop down box of my alias list that I created.

Also, how do I create a 'any any' rule...  Anything source or desintation with to host X.  You can do it with one rule in a router, but didnt see how to do that here (if possible).

    Many thanks.

Try typing your alias name in the port field while it is set to 'other', it should auto-complete.

Not following you. Give an example IOS rule and I'll tell you if/how it can be done in pfSense.

        That worked!

Forget the second question.  I figured out what I needed to know there :)
