Lightsquid hostname case sensitivity

Good day, I have been having a problem recently with sometimes, names are being returned capitalized, normally this is not an issue, however, lightsquid gets really messed up by this, as it sees marc.localdomain.local and Marc.localdomain.local as 2 different machines, and making my reports look really messy, has anybody else run into this, or does anybody know of an easy way of getting around this?  Looks like it may be an issue with ip2name.
