After deleting corresponding firewall rules, I tried to delete a couple of old alias tables through the Firewall > Aliases > All GUI.  I get the error:

"Cannot delete alias. Currently in use by ." for both tables.

Both tables are listed on the GUI page but only one appears in the pf Tables section of status.php

Any easy way to get rid of these?

Something is still using the alias. Usually a firewall rule somewhere. The tricky part is that it could be a firewall rule that is on an interface that was deleted.

Download a backup  (Diag > Backup/Restore) and search through it for references to the alias name.
