      Installation of Suricata 3.1.1 with Pfsense 2.4 failed. It consistently reported errors. Any one notice this issue. attached below is the crash report.

        yep i have plenty of failures.

        pfSense:
        ASRock -> Wolfdale1333-D667 (2GB TeamElite Ram)
        Marvell 88SA8040 Sata to CF(Sandisk 4GB) Controller
        NIC's: RTL8100E (Internal ) and Intel® PRO/1000 PT Dual (Intel 82571GB)

          xmlrpc sync has changed in 2.4, for the moment there errors are 'by design' or change thereof..
          Once https://github.com/pfsense/pfsense/pull/3141 is pulled ill try and see if i can fix some of the packages using config synchronisation..
