    Squid3 bug? (RC 0.4.7)

      Hi,
      my PfSense box (2.2.6-RELEASE) seems have some problems with Squid3 packages RC 0.4.7 (installed but DISABLED).

      Every 1 or 2 minutes a squid process starts with some "pinger" process that never ends… after a couple of days PfSense box show thousands of pinger process, and sometimes hangs or crashes with error "maxproc limit exceeded".

      someone with same issue?

        Remove all packages, then upgrade to pfSense 2.3, then reinstall squid. Packages are not being maintained or fixed on 2.2.x.
