      Hello,

My box keep spamming this in the error log file.

       [ pfB_blocklist block ] Download FAIL
       [ pfB_blocklist block ] Local File Failure

      Time	Process	PID	Message
      Nov 13 16:43:22	kernel pfr_update_stats: assertion failed.

      Pfsense: 2.3.2-RELEASE
      pfBlockerNG 2.1.1_4

PS I guess there are a fix or known problem but this search engine in this site need some improvement… need to be able to search just one sub forum or in one thread. DS

        Hi.

At  menu  Firewall > pfBlockerNG > IPv4 > edit IPv4 block list  named block, and see if the URL is accessible. Maybe the URL is down or block by pfSense rule (or ids/ips)

        for example one URL: https://malc0de.com/bl/IP_Blacklist.txt

If is down the url, put off this ipv4 list

And try it a Force update/reload in pfBlockerNG

        Regards

There is an Advanced Search feature https://forum.pfsense.org/index.php?action=search;advanced;search= where you can select which which board you wanna search.

As for the error, it looks like a local file failure, so what kind of source are you using for this Alias?
Is the file present? Do you have the correct path?

I was looking at that, took another look now and saw the "Choose a board to search in, or search all" that was hidden by default :(

You are talking about DNSBL Feed ?

                Could be that

                [ pfB_blocklist block ] Download FAIL
                 [ pfB_blocklist block ] Local File Failure

Was  old logs, I saved the log file and cleared it. See what happens.
Bu t the system general log has

                Nov 13 20:29:39	kernel pfr_update_stats: assertion failed.
