Update of NTOPNG to 2.4?
-
Perhaps upgrade your pfSense?
-
I am on 2.3.2-RELEASE-p1
"The system is on the latest version."
?
-
Well, 2.4 is available on the 2.3.3 snapshots.
-
actually this is what my version from 2.3.3 beta says "Generated by ntopng Community v.2.5.161012"
so looks like its 2.5 to me

2.5 is not even released, the GUI shows some nonsense from god knows where.

I have the same situation. Latest pfSense but the latest ntopng is bugging me that there is a v.2.4.0 available. But nothing showing in the packages just yet.
-
I found the issue why most people's says 2.2 but his shows 2.4. After some testing I discovered if I use the Development release I see the 2.4. So as doktornotor said, just upgrade to the snapshot and you will have the latest version.

Anyone know who the maintainer for ntopng is these days? I've been having lots of core dumps with v2.4.2016.10.14 on 2.4 snapshots and wanted to see if someone could merge the new 2.4.2017.01.20 version that's in ports repo. commit: https://github.com/pfsense/FreeBSD-ports/commit/2459fed524f433ff324d83f5febb26b3e3f62e81

ntopng github had a bunch of commits recently for FreeBSD in the dev branch, worth taking a look
