I have a few questions, i hope you guys and girls can help with.

So i have followed the NordVPN guide https://nordvpn.com/tutorials/pfsense/pfsense-openvpn/ screenshots are a little different but the data is sound still.

I have managed to get the VPN connection to NORDVPN up and running, but i am unable to get the traffic to route via this connection. I'm not sure what i am missing here…
I want to force ALL traffic via this NordVPN connection, with the exception of like my TV and PS4 etc.

      LAN Firewall

      Firewall / NAT / Outbound

As you can see now browsers are showing my REAL IP

      Not the NORDVPN IP

and no traffic is going over the VPN

what am i missing? What about setting up DNS also?

The second question is, how can i have say 5 or 6 nordvpn servers connected, and if one goes down then swap over to the other?

ok so i seem to have got it fixed for now.

The main PC i was using to fix this was my Windows 10 PC. It had an app called GlassWire installed so i could see bandwidth stats. It seems to be the problem.

I have uninstalled it and put the subnet –> NordVPN back in and it seems to be working fine now.

            hi wifiuk,

Is it still working for you? I have had exactly the same issue, except it's still doesn't work with single-host LAN rule. Is there anything else did you have to do to make it work?

It's working fine for me still.

I've removed all single rules and have LAN subnet working. I also have multiple vpns up and running so I can funnel torrents down a specific one
