            Hi!
            Anyone seen this before?
            Btw I've updated to 2.4 via gui and all is good.
            But I can't install it from usb stick…
            Really like zfs but can't use it because of this...

              At that point it is all between your hardware/BIOS and the USB stick reading the kernel.

              If it's a USB 3 stick and/or port, try a USB 2 stick/port. Or vice versa.

                  @maverick_slo:

                  Anyone seen this before?

                  Yeah, I've seen that. The old installer had a bunch of hidden options to install the loader in a couple different ways, after some random messing one of the options fixed it. Then again, this was back in ~2.1 days.  But yes, this is due to a shitty BIOS.

                    Well I said f**k it and waited… Then I started to wait.... A bit longer... Smoked and waited.... Swept the damn place and cleared some dust... Drank a coffee...

                    Installer popped up :)
                    But I forgot to backup my config.

                    So I waited some more and some more dust was swept and more coffee drank :D

                    Now I`m on ZFS and my shitty BIOS is more than happy to boot it :)
