New to pfSense, and have all firewall logging turned on (for testing). I'm trying to understand the following log entry:

PASS Interface: WAN Source: 74.92.10.129:42374 (my IP address) Destination: 146.112.61.103:443 Protrocol: TCP:S

As I understand this, the traffic is originating on the WAN interface and going to 146.112.61.103. What/why is this traffic generated?

Well that IP is owned by opendns.  It doesn't have a ptr..

What rules do you have logging.. Normally you do not log firewall generated traffic. Do you have rules in your floating for outbound on interfaces?
