my wan port 80 is forwarded to linux server behind firewall, is it simply possible to redirect incoming wan port 8080 to port 80 IP Address of pfsense box ?

Just create a rule for 8080 to be forwarded to your pfSense:80 on the "firewall", or am I missing the points?
