PFBlockerNG not resolving ad domains to DNSBL VIP on LAN - Ok from Firewall

EDIT: Issue resolved - i had a Port Forward NAT rule which was in front of the DNSBL rule that was causing the issue - thanks.
Hey all,
I have PFBlockerNG up and running and it seems to not be providing the DNSBL VIP to LAN clients when doing an nslookup to the LAN gateway address (192.168.x.1).If i go into Diagnostics \ DNS Lookup and request the IP for 101com.com as an example which is one of the first entries in the yoyo list here:- http://pgl.yoyo.org/adservers/serverlist.php?hostformat=hosts&mimetype=plaintext it resolves correctly to 10.10.10.1.
However sitting on a PC in the lan, if i do an nslookup and specify the LAN gateway as the DNS server (192.168.x.1) it resolves to its actual IP address.
I have 1 WAN setup but 2 gateways as i use a VPN to push traffic from certain devices by way of alias to the VPN gateway.
In the DNS Resolver, i have selected "All" in Network Interfaces and ONLY my VPN WAN for my Outgoing Network Interfaces.

In PFBlockerNG, i only use GeoIP and DNSBL, logs from an update below- they look ok to me.

However var/unbound/pfb_dnsbl.conf has loads of entries including 101com.com - so where is my LAN interface getting its DNS from?
Finally, can you clarify something for me - i was wondering, the DNS resolver from my understanding uses "root" DNS servers if DNS Forwards is not enabled. Are these the Internet root DNS servers or something else as i DONT have any DNS server currently configured that i can see (like in System -> General).
