LightSquid service not running
-
I installed the latest version of squid and lightsquid on a new pfsense 2.3 system. Squid runs fine. Attempted transparent mode before I switch to WPAD. However, the lightsquid_web service doesn't run. Whenever I click on the LightSquid link, the webpage times out. I even attempted some suggestions to add a firewall rule but it doesn't work. Is this happening to anyone else?
I checked for any logs regarding the LightSquid but see no errors under Status > System Logs > System > General
Also, can Squid handle IPv6 traffic?

Yeah it's not working because lighttpd is a piece of superretarded shit that insists on binding to port 80 even if there is absolutely no mention of port 80 in the entire config.
A big FUCK YOU to lighttpd upstream. Retards.

Fixed. https://github.com/pfsense/FreeBSD-ports/pull/284
Never seen such shitty webserver configuration mess, ever. What a bunch of morons. And this is their "documentation". https://redmine.lighttpd.net/projects/lighttpd/wiki/IPv6-Config
Argh! What a POS!

Awesome. I can confirm that the lightsquid_web is now running after the update.
