Had anyone sucessfully setup Pfsense v.2.3.3 OpenVPN tap. Had it running before fine on a previous version of pfsense but it stopped. I noticed the tap fix package is also missing from pfsense v2.3.3 maybe that has something to do with it.

Basically i can connect to the vpn server but cant ping anything on the remote network or pfsense itself.

Anyone can help with this would be greate.

Did you assign your OVPNS/C Interfaces and created a bridge with your LAN and the VPN interface?

          Hi,

I have exactly same problem…I have OVPNs/c interfaces, same as bridge. Rules are set unlimited on OVPN_TAP and OVPN interfaces. In attachement are screens from server site. On client side its simmilar.

I have exactly same problem too. I installed pfSensse 2.3.3 and tried to use OpenVPN client with tap device.
I can connect to the vpn server but can't ping anything on the remote network or pfsense itself.
I read all the instructions, but none is suitable.
            Has anyone solved this problem?

My OpenVPN client configuration on a freshly installed FreeBSD 10.3 and openvpn 2.3.14 works fine. It is unfortunate that this does not work on pfSense :(
