      Hello,

I set up Squid proxy on my pfSense box and I want to be able to use that proxy so I can jump to it and access some websites from work that are blocked. I know I have to select the WAN interface in the Squid options, but do I have to add a Firewall rule allowing access to the WAN address on port 3128? (pfSense documentation does not mention this - https://doc.pfsense.org/index.php/Setup_Squid_as_a_Transparent_Proxy) And what IP/subnet I need to add in the Squid ACL? My work WAN address ?

      Thanks,

Thanks god. I think I'll implement the idea of hiding WAN from the list of interfaces.  :o ::)

I like your sarcasm. However, I was hoping I could get some help from an experienced board member here. BSD people are usually friendly and helpful (unless you mention Linux or Microsoft to them). I know a few.
