I guess I am not understanding something here.

      I built a IPv4 Settings page: IPv4 Settings / List Action / IPv4 Custom list / Custom Address(es)

and placed an IP address in the list.  After OKing out, my browser can still access the site.

      Am I doing something wrong?

      Thanks

You probably need to force pfBlockerNG to Update the IPv4 list.  You do that on the Update tab, "Select Force Option" to "Update", and click the "Run" button.  Even with that, it sometimes seems to take some time before changes to the lists take effect.

Thanks.  I was updating it manually, but I didn't notice that it was getting this error:

          [ custom ] Downloading update . completed ..
          [ pfB
_custom ] Custom List Error ]

The updating completely stopped at that point, unknown to me.  What seems to have
fixed it was unchecking 'Enable Domain/AS'.

I only have one IP address in the list (nnn.nnn.nnn.nnn), so it apparently didn't like
          that.

If you manually add IPs to a customlist, you need to check the "Update custom list" checkbox, then goto the Update tab, and Force Update. Otherwise the Customlist is updated as per the "Frequency" setting of the Alias.

The next version will be more intuitive to know when the Customlist has changed…
