HAProxy DNS resolvers - IP address change on WAN

Hello community,

I've got a HAProxy setup running one frontend with SNI on my WAN interface. The WAN connection is PPPoE changing its IP address every 24 hours.
Everything is working just fine, but HAProxy won't bind to the new WAN IP address after a PPPoE reconnect.

So the question is basically:

• Is this related to the settings in the global settings DNS resolvers entries?
• If yes, what about these settings? Do I need external DNS resolvers or do I just enter the localhost DNS resolver (that is running)
• If not: what else to do? A cron-job restarting HAProxy after a PPPoE reconnect? What would be the command doing so? Something else?

By searching I already came across the bug-tracker: https://redmine.pfsense.org/issues/7462
but I'm not quite sure if I'm dealing with the same issue.
