      Hi,

Since upgrading to 2.4. I'm having a weekly crash. pfSense runs in a VM. The host system has not crashed nor did I have crashes in 2.3. I've submitted crash reports through the interface each week. Wondering if anyone else is having an issue like this? Debugging info attached.

      Thanks
      -Mark

The crash looks like it's pretty deep in hardware, not a place that software would likely be the cause. In this case since it's a VM, that could mean some issue with the hypervisor or its configuration.

What type/version of vmware is this running under? I see that mentioned in the boot log from the crash.
What hardware revision? What vm settings?

Running on ESXI 5.5.0 5230635. Hardware is a Supermicro A1SRM-LN7F with a 10gb mellanox nic and 16gb of ECC ram. I'm wondering if this could have anything to do with importing my old config from 2.3. I was having a lot of issues with the ram drive.

You'd probably get better results by upgrading to ESX 6.5.0a.

A crash like that is not likely to be related to your configuration.

I'll give 6.5.0a a try this weekend. Thanks!
