Pass specific traffic destined for internet over openvpn

I am testing a solution using openvpn as a client firewall behind an existing firewall.  So far I have it working for passing internal traffic back and forth but I must pass certain traffic destined for specific public IPs to get to the internet across the openvpn rather than out the wan.

Also want to switch to certificates for scalability.

I will happily pay someone to help me with this if they know how to do this.  Several have said yes and when trying to assist find they do not know how!
