Pfsense 2.4 crashed twice in past 7 days

my pfsense 2.4 has crashed 2 times in the past 7 days.
i have submitted the crash report. do i have to report it here as well?
i'm on build # 2.4.0.b.20170519.1710

What's your hardware? have you tried to test your RAM?

yup, its a 3 month old machine. all new stuff..
diags didnt return any errors
its celeron 3160 NUC with 4GB RAM, Intel NICs & SSD
Have made some changes to Tunables… will see if that solves the issue

Both of those crashes are very low-level and highly unlikely to be software-related.
The fact that the system is so new does not necessarily mean the hardware is good. It could be defective, rather than developing a fault over time.

Hardware follows a bathtub curve, most likely to show issues in the first few months if ever, and sudden failure later in life.
Whenever I build a new computer at home, I have it run 3-4 days of memtest, 2-3 days of a CPU burn-in, and 1-2 days of GPU burn-in. How sure are you that it's not a hardware issue?
