It is mostly just PHP, files in /etc/inc and /usr/local/www and so on. So you can view those files on your pfSense system.
They are also easily available by looking on GitHub under https://github.com/pfsense/pfsense/tree/master/src

If you edit/change/delete anything then you are on your own!

As the Greek philosopher Isosceles used to say, "There are 3 sides to every triangle."

The 'webroot' (NGINX is the server used) starts here : https://github.com/pfsense/pfsense/tree/master/src/usr/local/www
GUI-to-system-and-or-FreeBSD (most of it) is present here : https://github.com/pfsense/pfsense/tree/master/src/etc/inc

Or : install pfSense and have a look at it ;)

Edit : and where are the logs ??
