Strange error message when pfBlocker added?
-
Has anybody seen this error message when pfBlocker added? Tried multiple devices on my network on multiple interfaces…disabled pfBlocker then enabled it back and it went away???
I was only using GeoIP functionality.

All IPs that are blocked will be reported to the Alerts Tab. You can review the page for details about what it being blocked… Did you block USA with GeoIP?
-
No I didn't block the US? I plan to rebuild my configuration…I'll post another question prior to my build...really want to get PfBlocker working with my VLANs.
I manage to get VLANs, snort and rules but PfBlocker has been a struggle.
Thanks the follow up bbcan177...

Is their a IP white list for Snort that works with PfBlocker?

Is their a IP white list for Snort that works with PfBlocker?
Not following what the question is?

I blocked a few countries and when I went to update my snort rules, the snort rules were blocked.
I was curious if I could somehow upload a white list for snort rule IPs so PfBlocker/geo blocker allows them thru.

Note that the Snort openappid rules are hosted in a University server in Brazil… and the Snort rules are hosted on s3.amazonaws.com ...

There is no whitelist per se... Just review the Alerts Tab to see what is getting blocked. You can either use the "+" Suppression/whitelist option, or create a permit outbound rule to allow your LAN to access those blocked IPs before the other Block rules take effect...
