Captive portal voucher external DB

Hi,

is there some documentation about voucher external DB?

i see only the option on voucher configuration with ip address, user and password…

on official documentation i can't find anything about it.

Can you help me?

There is no support for vouchers in an external database. The XMLRPC options are for two pfSense installations in an HA pair to sync voucher usage to each other, not for an external database.

What is it you are attempting to accomplish? Perhaps there is another way to reach your goal.

I need an external (web)application to generate voucher as i do with radius access database;

I can't grant access to firewall to generate voucher, is it possible?

You can't.
But it is possible. The GUI can do it (generate 'vouchers') so, make your own GUI, make it communicate with pfSense and Bob's your oncle.
So, final reply : can YOU do it ?

Why can't you grant access ? Your question isn't clear to me.

Is it possible to import the vouchers into the external database? Generate vouchers, import them into the external database into a seperate table. Select on when required and mark it as used.
