      Hi there, I have 6 installations running 2.4 snapshots, 4 are netgate units, 2 are VM based.

      I've never really noticed this before, but the 2 VM are on 2.4.0.b.20170803.1122, showing an  update available to 2.4.0.b.20170804.0730
      while the 4 physical netgate devices show: 2.4.0.b.20170803.1003 with no update available

      Anyone have any ideas on this one, or are the separate images for community vs appliance snapshots?

        Netgate units use the "factory" image, VMs use the "Community" image. Those images are built sequentially, so you just caught it in-between I imagine.
