On 2.4.0.b.20170808.1459, if I try to filter the interface widget to hide a particular interface, the toggle is saved but the widget continues to show all interfaces. In my case, I have 5 interfaces and no combination of toggles adjusts the widget.

I was going to open a bug report, but the docs say I should post in the forum first…

There is some work happening on the dashboard widgets to improve how the AJAX calls are handled, it's possible that change has caused a problem here or it's also possible the filters just haven't made it into the new AJAX code yet.

It does work on a snapshot from before those changes, so it probably is a new bug introduced by the new code. Go ahead and open up a bug report for that and be sure to mention the widget title specifically (e.g. Interfaces and not Interface Statistics), and which settings you have changed.

Yep, current snapshot fixed it. No bug reported.
