      Squid is blocking windows update and ive tried adding the address part by part but the windows update still getting block.

      how to white list this kind of address?

        Have you tried to whitelist the entire domain?
        instead of whitelisting "http://002054-1.l.windowsupdate.com/llnhost_au.download.windowsupdate.com/d/msdownload/update/software/uprl/2017/09/windows-kb890830-x64-v5.52-delta_77fbce0480aec4a50443451231075c607f8a3c60.exe"
        just whitelist "windowsupdate.com"

          i tried whitelisting "windowsupdate.com" but the address is still getting blocked and squid says input errors were detected if i put the entire domain.

            P.S. Google the difference between URL and domain.
