      Hello there,

So now it seems the right time to finally Register on the Forums.

I've been using pfsense for about a year and i'm really happy with it so i finally decided to upgrade my pfsense installation from 2.3.4 to the 2.4RC.

In doing so i did a fresh Install of pfsense since i wanted to take advantage of the zfs mirroring.

      Here are my Steps.

      1. So i did a backup of all of my settings including RRD and package configs (only have snort atm) from the pfsense 2.3.4.

      2. Did a fresh install of pfsense 2.4RC

      3. Went through the wizard.

      4. Restored my Config.

so far so good everything came backup fine :)

But now when i add a Static Mapping for my ip addresses in the DHCP server im getting the error :

/services_dhcp_edit.php: The command '/usr/sbin/arp -d '192.168.85.250'' returned exit code '1', the output was 'arp: writing to routing socket: No such file or directory'

Where obviously the IP 192.168.85.250 can be replaced with every other ip adress it always prints that error in the Systemlog.

It only appears in the System Log and it seems to add it plus everything works but this got me a little worried.

It also appears if i edit one of my static mappings.

      Anyone else got that error?

      Chears :)
